National Fire Message Project
Implementation of a comprehensive nationwide campaign for the delivery of the Fire Use Messages. This contracted project will widely transmit contemporary and enlivened messages about the important role of fire as a natural process and the risks and consequences of its use and exclusion. The multi-year project will assure consistent messages that will build public trust and achieve positive opinion. |

Fire Prevention Field Guide development -
The WFEWT developed 12 training guides over the course of three budget years (app. 1995-1997) that are designed to assist field personnel in their fire prevention activities. These guides will be revised and consolidated into a field guide for the use of FPOs and IOFs. |
