FI-210, Wildland Fire Origin and Cause Determination, 2016

Complete the “Wildland Fire Investigation Origin and Determination” module. Note: The text version can be downloaded here.
Upon completing the FI-210 Pre-course Work, you must take the pre-selection assessment. Click National Fire Academy (NFA) Online to be redirected to the website to take the pre-selection assessment.
The FI-210 pre-selection assessment covers the information you have learned in this tutorial. Successful completion of the assessment pre-qualifies you to take the Instructor-led FI-210 course. This test does not qualify you to be a Wildland Fire Investigator.
NOTE: You will need an NFA Online account to take the FI-210 pre-selection assessment; follow directions on the NFA Online website to obtain an account and register in the NWCG domain. When registering in NFA Online to take the online assessment, be sure you register for the "NWCG" domain. In addition, a functioning printer is required to print assessment results.
Search the NFA Online course catalog for “FI-210, Wildland Fire Origin and Cause Determination (Pre-course Work/Pre-selection Assessment) 2014” and select “Start Course”.
Complete the exam. You must score 70% or higher to receive a certificate of completion.
Print and submit the certificate to the instructor or course coordinator, as directed.
1. Confirm the installed Adobe Reader is the current version for the browser you are using.
2. To print the online course completion certificate, log into your NFA Online account. From your Home Page select VIEW ALL in the Completed Work pod.
3. Hover mouse over the title of the course, wait for pop-up, and select PRINT CERTIFICATE.
