Administration

 

  • The Mobile Food Services Contract required to complete the pre-course work is not available for download.
  • The course coordinator/lead instructor should obtain the current contract by following the directions on the USFS Contracting website: https://www.fs.fed.us/managing-land/fire/contracting
  • Send a copy of the contract to students with their acceptance letter.

Due to changes to the National Mobile Facilities contract the following updates need to be made to Pre-Course Test, Unit 5 (Instructor Guide, Student Workbook and PowerPoint) and the Final Exam.

Pre-Course Work 

(errors below have been corrected on the online test)

  • Question 11, answer is still F, but “a.” should read “Dust Control for the main serving area as needed.”
  • Question 15, answer should be F. a, b, and d.
  • Question 16, b. should be 1000 gallons not 500 gallons.
  • Question 17, D should say “Immediately report to the LSC or FDUL to verify set up.”
  • Question 25, delete “COR or” • Question 31, delete “COR or.”
  • Question 32, solution is False, not True.
  • Question 36, delete “COR or the.”
