Crash Rescue

Q6 Recommendation or Error Resolution No. 01Provide a solution to your comment or correction to any errors found

Do we really need crash rescue diagrams for an R-44, Bell 222, BO-105 or BK-117? Can we put all the 500 series in, i.e. 530FF, etc? the NOTAR ships? Are the S-61 and SH-3H similar enough to list them together? Military CH-47D and Civilian are different as well. Add the US Army Lakota? Take away the OH-58D Kiowa?

Q11 Do you have a recommendation how improve its usefulness as a convenient and accessible field reference?

bring back the printed IHOG and make the online version updateable.

Q12 Do you feel electronic distribution of this guide has improved or worsened your ability to perform your duties. Please be specific as to the nature of this effect.

In some respects, it has worsened. We often have to spend money to have it printed out, and it is not in a format that makes it cheap or easy.

Q13 What digital features or capabilities would you like to see in the electronic version of this publication?

Highlight the version number and when it was last updated, and if updates are available.

Q14 What publication exhibits and or illustrations would you like to see improved or added?

Need crash rescue diagrams for other aircraft; Bell 407, the new heavy helicopters, etc., and a specific chapter on short haul; capabilities, training, crew location, response area from home base and when in the field, etc.

E-copies are a fail.

Q6 Recommendation or Error Resolution No. 01Provide a solution to your comment or correction to any errors found

Do only hard copies or at least both.

Q11 Do you have a recommendation how improve its usefulness as a convenient and accessible field reference?

Do not go to online only. We need the hard copy to be in our hands. Field reviews show lack of reading if electronic only

Q12 Do you feel electronic distribution of this guide has improved or worsened your ability to perform your duties. Please be specific as to the nature of this effect.

During ready reviews I have seen many failures due to the electronic trend of so many documents and guides.

Q13 What digital features or capabilities would you like to see in the electronic version of this publication?

NONE!

Q14 What publication exhibits and or illustrations would you like to see improved or added?

The entire product needs to go back to hard copy
