Resources Unit Leader

Required Training

  • ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents (ICS-200)
  • Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents (ICS-300)
  • NRF: An Introduction (IS-800)

Required Experience

  • Satisfactory performance as a Status/Check-In Recorder (SCKN)
  • AND Completion and Certification of NWCG Resources Unit Leader (RESL) Position Task Book (PMS 311-24)

Physical Fitness Level: None Required

Position does not require a physical fitness level.

  • Planning Section Chief Type 1 (PSC1)
  • Planning Section Chief Type 2 (PSC2)
  • Planning Section Chief Type 3 (PSC3)
