AFUE Aerial Firefighting Use and Effectiveness
Aerial Firefighting Use and Effectiveness (AFUE) is a chartered study through the US Forest Service. This study is an exploration of critical questions; questions such as: Where, When, Why, How, and How Well are aerial firefighting resources being used? AFUE products are intended to assist and inform, both aerial firefighting in particular, and wildland fire management in general.
